On August 4, Mr. Peng from Liaoning reported to Langchao News that his 17-year-old daughter, Xiaotong (pseudonym), was bullied by multiple girls three months ago, and the bullies recently even went live to share the incident of the beating.
Mr. Peng said that Xiaotong enrolled in a makeup class at a vocational school in Shenyang last year. In mid-April this year, Xiaotong had a dispute with one of the bullies after leaving a comment on a boy's social media account.
On the afternoon of April 21, Xiaotong was surrounded by several girls of different ages in the underground passage of Wanda Plaza on Shenyang's Shenliao Road, where she was assaulted, and someone recorded a video. Afterward, Mr. Peng reported to the police, and several bullies were punished, while those under 14 were exempted from punishment.
After the incident, Xiaotong's classmates and family discovered that someone was selling the video of her being beaten online for 6.6 yuan. The bullies even went live to share their experience of the beating and claimed, "Those under 14 will not be punished."
Mr. Peng said these people are too rampant. He has provided relevant evidence to the police and hopes the bullies will receive the punishment they deserve.
